When I saw the fun colors for this week's color challenge -- Cinnamon Cider, Polished Pink, Coastal Cabana -- I initially thought these would make a great underwater scene with bright pink corals and sea creatures. Of course, I don't have anything like that in my stamp collection, so here's my Plan B inspiration: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/441634307212086287/
I started my card by die cutting a rectangular blue mat. Randomly stamped the single agapanthus bloom with the blue DOX and glued it to the card base. I then die cut two panels -- one blue, one brown -- with the same frame die and trimmed the edge off the blue panel. Stamped that panel with the flower stamps in both blue and brown DOX. Glued them together and added to the card base.
I think these colors are just "fun" and I wanted to incorporate something whimsical on my card. So, I switched out the large butterflies on the tag for this sweet fairy and her small butterfly friends. Added the banner sentiment, rhinestones on the butterflies and, of course, Stickles to the fairy's wings.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope all your wishes come true and I hope you will join in the fun this week at the Color Challenge.

this card is over the top cute Debbie- I love the sassy little fairy - it might have been Plan B but it looks like an "A" plan to me - these colors were made for this card

I am tickled by the incongruity of this stamp. Fleecy headband and skirt, no shirt, leg warmers with open toes. I don't know if I should be chilly or warm? But cute scene you have built here. I guess fairies can mix it up anyway they please.

Oh, my goodness, I love this card! You used the colors perfectly, and I love how the fairy is posed outside of the picture, but blowing her fairy kisses in to the flowers and butterflies. A perfect birthday card!
